Description
The Irish Dresden Puffin is a fine porcelain figurine created from a design by artist Danny Osborne. The piece captures the distinctive appearance of the Atlantic puffin, a seabird found along the coastline of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Sometimes called the clown of the sea, the puffin is immediately recognisable by its colourful beak. This characteristic feature is carefully reproduced in the handpainted finish of the figurine.
Each Irish Dresden Puffin is handcrafted and handpainted by skilled artists. The production process takes just over three months, from the initial forming of the piece through to its final paint firing.
The finished Puffin measures 12 × 6.5 × 8.5 cm.
