Description
The Irish Dresden Sinead Porcelain Figurine is beautifully detailed, from her emerald green gown and Irish harp to her intricate porcelain lace.
Her gown is made using fine cotton net lace dipped in a special porcelain clay mix. During firing at 1,290°C, the cotton burns away, leaving its delicate lace pattern in the porcelain. Sinead’s red hair, green bodice, chair and facial features are carefully hand-painted, while 8-carat gold decorates her Irish harp, shoes and chair.
Creating Sinead requires three separate firings, with the complete production process taking up to six months. The intricate porcelain lace, hand-painted decoration and gold detailing make her a fine example of the skill and craftsmanship behind Irish Dresden.
