Description
The Irish Dresden Standing Irish Leprechaun is a porcelain figurine by Cyril Hartnett. Dressed in green and red, the leprechaun is shown standing and brings a familiar figure from Irish folklore to life in porcelain.
Irish folklore tells of leprechauns making shoes for the fairies and guarding pots of gold hidden deep in the forest. Superstition also connects these little people with good fortune, including health, wealth and happiness.
At 14 cm high, this standing leprechaun is taller than the sitting and lying designs in the range and measures 7 × 6.5 × 14 cm overall.
